I’m so excited to be visiting one of my favorite cities, San Francisco. I would luv to live there if only the cost of living wasn’t so high. Anyway, I hope you all have a great weekend and Happy Easter…I shall be eating & shopping to my heart’s content in SF!!
UK typography designer & illustrator Seb Lester is known for his distinguished designs and calligraphic prints.
I’m always impressed when someone has really good penmanship or typography skills. It’s something I always try to improve on since my penmanship(as my grandmother use to tell me) is “crabby”.
You can also see snapshots of his work as he post them on his Instagram. I luv these cheeky sayings!
Devendra Banhart is streaming his latest eighth album, Mala, online ahead of its official release on March 12. I’ve only listen to it once and I luv it. Stream it on NPR now!
New York-based artist Judith Braun creates large-scale finger drawings of wall sized abstracts and nature scenes using nothing but her fingers dipped in charcoal powder.
I wasn’t aware of her art until recently when I stumbled upon these images on tumblr and was blown away that she only used her fingers to create these.
Oh, joys arise, the sun has come again to hold you Sailing out the doldrums of the week The polyphonic prayer is here, it’s all around you It’s all around you out here
And if the whole world is crashing down on you Fall through space, out of mind with me Where the emptiness we leave behind on warm air rising Those are the shadows far away
The falling of the whole empire, it’s here to hold you Rolling out and haunted till it sinks
Little memories, marching on Your little feet working the machine Will it spin? Will it soar? My little dream working the machine
Soothe like a wave And crash far Closing in on the moon And who we are
Little memories Your little feet working the machine Will it spin? Will it soar? My little dream working the machine
Soothe like a wave And crash far Closing in on the moon And who we are
