Plainsong//The Cure

“and it’s so cold it’s like the cold if you were dead and then you smiled for a second.”

Gah, hearing this song always gives me goosebumps and makes me want to cry, it is that beautiful. The Cure was my very first concert and I’ll always remember them playing this as their opener.

Sebastiaan Bremer

I’m enthralled by New York based Dutch artist Sebastiaan Bremer’s work. He incorporates paintings and intricate ink drawings over found photographs and photos he shoots. They are sometimes landscapes, portraits, or still life and they all are quite magical. The end result is beautiful with layers of richly embellished imagery and art.

I Knew It Was Over (Live at the Vatican)//Cat’s Eyes

Simply gorgeous!

I had no idea you could perform at the Vatican?! I’m a fan of The Horrors and I really like the sound of singer Faris Badwan’s new project Cat’s Eyes with Canadian opera soprano and multi-instrumentalist Rachel Zeffira. It’s a sound completely different from the goth punk sounds of The Horrors. I can’t wait to listen to more from Cat’s Eyes. Go onto their website to download a free mp3 of  “Not a Friend”.

Ask for Tiger Studios

I recently updated my portfolio site and basically wanted to give myself a shout-out (lol)! The site was designed entirely on iWeb and until I have enough money for someone to build me a proper site this will suffice. I wanted a clean & simple look and I feel it’s much “fresher” than what I had before. So hit me up people if you need freelance work, I’ve got mad skillz!!
