my weekend.

I have been mad for crystals and gems ever since I blogged about Carly Waito’s paintings last month. You can understand my happiness when I saw these rings at Unique LA:

I mean it is by no means as badass as this Debra Baxter brass knuckle:

isn't this hilarious?

Ooooooh, and I found the perfect mint green polish! Not too dark nor too pale and with great coverage.

buy it here.

a peak at my weekend…

the best red velvet pancakes I've ever eaten ~ Larchmont Bungalow

good times with my lil' bro & sis & the cousins

My weekend was awesome folks. We had such a fantastic meal at the Larchmont Bungalow on Saturday. The food was sooo yummy plus we had a mini celebrity sighting! I don’t watch Grey’s Anatomy but “McPretty” was there which made Belle extra happy!!

Sunday my friends & I went to the Long Beach Veterans Flea Market. It was such a nice & sunny day. I even bought myself some succulents which I now will have to find a cute pot to plant them in.

Cheerio Supergrass!

Sniffle sniffle. I’ve liked Supergrass since their superb first album I Should Coco in 1995, and it saddens me to read they are announcing their split after 17 years. This Oxford band holds a place in my heart and makes me reminisce my days of being a Britpopper. I’ve seen them live countless many times and even dedicated an art school project on them, ~sigh~ I’ll miss ya, Supergrass…

SUBject/subJECT

I went to an awesome art show Saturday night that showcased all female artists. The gallery was PACKED but I managed to snap a few pics:

This was my favorite, a calloborate piece between Swoon & Monica Canilao

All I can say is daaaaaaaaang. Isn’t he wonderful? I remember going to all his art shows back in the day and going up to him to sign my “meat bag”. Yes, I bought the Paul Frank limited addition Meat Bag and had MR sign it! I was really nervous, like meeting my pop idol and he was hella cool.
